This white board is both magnetic and easy to write on. What is very convenient is the height. If you teach young children and do circle time, it is the perfect height when you are sitting on a chair and your students are in front of you on the floor. It moves easily on the carpet, the wheels both move and lock.

For my New Years Resolution, I wanted to transition from traditional daily to-do lists (rewritten every morning) to an Agile Kanban Board. This is a perfect whiteboard to set by my workstation, and use as a workflow system. I’ve been an Agile Coach for five years, and I decided to apply the practices to my own daily work. If you aren’t familiar with a Kanban board: I divided the board into sections for Backlog (Do Someday), Committed (Will do, haven’t started), In Progress (Working on now), On Hold/Roadblock (Had to stop), Follow UP/Schedule (Need to setup a meeting, email, Call or IM), and Completed (What I finish during the day). Whenever a task comes up or I’m asked to call someone, I put it on a write a note on a sticky note and put it in one of those sections, so I don’t loose track of it. Throughout the day, I move them around as I work different items. I even started using a color coded sticky note system for: Green (Personal), Blue (Administrative), Red (Project Related), Yellow (Training/Development). This board is the perfect size for my needs. I’ll post a picture.I thought it would have an adjustable tilt angle, but it’s fixed. However, they put it at the optimal angle, so that’s not an issue.

I like the ease in putting it together. The wheels are a little cheap in that they don’t wheel easily. The board itself is nice. The main reason I gave it 4 stars is that the board is a little wobbly where it is attached to the pole. Other wise not a bad product.
