I livin in SoCal and it got hot this summer. My central AC could not keep up so I installed this unit in my master bedroom and WOW!, this room went from being the warmest to the coldest in the house. Highly recommend this unit to cool down any room.

Okay so I’ve heard really good things about mini splits and I research for a while costway had great reviews also read that they’re all mainly the same we just depends on your HVAC guy so that information plus the great reviews as well as the fact that home Depot sells them made me feel a little bit better considering I have never heard of them before. The first praise I have is for the customer service I hit an issue where I had ordered three units one of 12,000 BTU which was in stock and two 9,000 BTUs that were not in stock The first half came but the other two parts come to find out had to come from Canada This is an issue because I had already set my HVAC appointment and I’m on the tight timeline. I called and the lady was very helpful she said she would reach out to her logistics person and give me a call back the next day which I didn’t expect but she did called me back and she let me know it would be another 5 to 10 days which was horrible because I think my appointment was in 4 days so the chances of me getting them were slim to none however they showed up at 1:00 p.m. on the day that they were being installed so it ended up being perfect!!! My second concern was my house is very compartmentalized it’s an old downtown house so it does not have an open floor plan My house is 1,400 ft², I got ( 2) 9,000 my bed room, my son’s bedroom (1 )12,000 BTU living room and dining room (all kind of oneojg area) unit
I knew that technically they were big enough for that square footage however the house being so compartmentalized and spread out I didn’t know if it would work very well if you had window units you know that usually whatever room you have in it’s freezing and the rest of the house suffers so that’s kind of what I was worried about however I don’t know how this magic works but my whole house is cool and feels wonderful. I’m sorry if this review seems all over the place it is 2:00 in the morning I have been up for a very long time but I wanted to leave a review before I forgot. highly recommend this product It is only my first night I guess something could go wrong but I don’t think it will I had it professionally installed by a HVAC professional which I also highly recommend because a lot of the reviews that I saw said these systems are great If you have them installed properly A lot of the issues come when you don’t have them installed properly.
