I needed a unit for the Chicago seasons. I just purchased this unit on BlackFriday and it has already got to 5° outside. This 12,000 btu unit packs a punch. I only use it for a bonus 12×12 room and the heat is amazing and makes the room comfortable. Easy install, only took 6hrs from a professional because a 230V had to be wired. Purchased the wall mount and cover to protect unit from the snow and insects. Fastest shipping ever from Costway! Wifi and app for Android is awesome!Can’t wait to test the A/C part in the summer!

Purchased this for our basement. No issues with the install or operation. If your not handy with any “do it yourself” projects, don’t attempt this install. There are some unknowns, like the need for a vacuum pump and gauges, which will cost you extra. You may also need extended drain lines, external power cutoff box, separate electric breaker, etc. So be prepared for those extra costs.
