I needed a tv stand with a fireplace that had a smaller footprint than most for my office on the mornings when I needed some warmth for my office. The stand itself was pretty simple to put together. I did it myself in about an hour. It’s pretty solid and I don’t foresee any issues with it. As for the fireplace, I live in Florida so I won’t use it for probably 8 months or so out of the year but at present it’s November and I have used it a few times already. It does give off alot of heat. It allows you 5 different flame options, a timer for those times when you only want it on for an hour or a few, or you can use it for the flame effect only. You can change the temp but it only changes the temp by 5 degrees each time, not one degree at a time like others I’ve seen, but that isn’t a big deal to me. The temperature itself only goes up and down so far as well. It heats up my 11 x 13 office pretty quickly. So far it works great.
