The glass is sturdy, which was a concern we had when we purchased.
Putting it together was a bit of an event but made much more simple with some ratchet tools (I’d recommend using them). We needed to get the bolts out of crevices a few times. Nothing unmanageable though maybe annoying.
Overall, this was a great purchase and I’m glad we were able to find something that looks nice and is durable, in our limited budget.

This set is perfect for our balcony and would look great anywhere. The value for the price is excellent.
Putting it together is not for the faint hearted. If you proceed knowing in advance that it will take two ‘handy’ people about 4 hours from unpacking to sitting and sipping a drink, it is well worth it. READ THE INSTRUCTION BOOK, lay out all the pieces, have tools on hand. We used their tool for tight places, our ratchetting screwdriver
for most screws. We are in out seventies and work well together, that helped. The only thing we added were two tie wraps at the backs of the chairs. Several reviewers of other sets mentioned that they were too low. That helped me because I read all the measurements and seat height was important, this is 19in. PS four days from order to delivery! Also, on our balcony new Aloha Red Multicolor rug from Home Depot and red chairs from Walmart ($27) each.
