The inputs for mic and mp3 provide a good simple mixing of signals. The onboard speakers are good for practice, and can pass for intimate performances. Through a sound system the tones are excellent. Battery power is adequate for hours of playing.
There are some drawbacks. Layering of two or more tones is noticeably absent. The lowest volume setting is too loud for many settings. However, running the signal through a stereo provides far more control over the volume and frequency contour. There is a “frothy” high frequency sound, almost a white-noise effect, that arises and persists at the end of the Attack-Decay-Sustain. Turning dynamic off seems to help. The unit rarely turns on with one keypress, two are usually required.

The build is solid and the key action is decent.
The built in sounds and speaker are terrible so you will need to midi up to control an external sound source or you will be dissapointed.
If you are trying to play sounds on an IPhone or IPad and connect your phone to a Bluetooth speaker, the delay makes this option unusable.
To truly be “portable” the best path is wireless midi to musical instrument application or your phone, and a directly wired audio cable to a portable speaker.

Simply a keyboard. Does not sound pleasant or authentic. Good for practice on the go. Nice concept, poor execution.
