I was pleasantly surprised by what a sturdy, functional and good looking piece this is!!
I like to think myself pretty darn handy – but it was still quite a feat to get it put together properly. The assembly instructions leave LOTS to be desired! (Like some *words* would’ve been nice!!)
A HELPFUL TIP: when attaching the #5 squares to boards #2, #3 and #4 – the photos don’t make it clear which way the #5’s should be facing. (I’d argue the photos actually imply placing them backwards!) So make sure the white edges are showing / facing upward at that stage.
Other than that, I have no complaints at all! It’s a great piece, and I love that they supply the hardware needed to anchor it to the wall – so it doesn’t topple forward at any point.
