I was looking for a compact dollhouse, and this one is just the right size! It fits perfectly in my daughter’s playroom, and she loves having a whole house for her dolls. The 3 floors and moveable furniture make it even more fun. It’s very sturdy too.

My daughters are at a stage where they enjoy pretend play now. We previously got them a large dollhouse but found that they hardly played with it — and it took up a lot of space in their bedroom. So, I returned it and grabbed a smaller one that also had stairs, figuring that this visual queue might prompt them to play more with the little dolls: it did, indeed. The two girls have now been playing with this smaller dollhouse, sometimes fighting over it (which made us wonder whether we should get a large one again but decided against it because of the space required). Assembly was straight-forward with the hardest part identifying which parts were associated with which numbers in the instructions. Some had their number sticks fall off. Some of the boards cracked a little when I used an electric drill to assemble them. So, be careful. However, the dollhouse still assembled just fine. Overall, a good buy.
