I got a costway portable air cooler july 23/2024 unfortunately it did not work. It showed a error code first time we plugged it in. We e-mailed costway with the issue with a short video. The next day we got a e-mail stating costway was going to ship a replacement. We got it within 5 days.
Just got it hooked up and yay!! Works great!

This was a great price when I bought it and helped save our bacon during this last hot desert summer. We rent ans the ac unit for the house is just a little too small so it basically runs 24/7 in the summer driving up thr electric bill something awful. This unit kept our family room very comfortable this summer and helped support the main unit so it wasn’t running non stop.
Easy to use, not any louder than a regular house fan, easy to install. I installed the exhaust on a sliding glass door next to our dog door. I recommend that get 1/2 in x 4.5 in unfinished boards to fit and secure the outlet plate to (see pics). This will give you a much more solid and secure installation.
