We used to have a gate at the walkway for our patio, this was bulky and the gate was open most of the time.
We found this to provide the privacy when needed and become practically invisible when not in use.
This ended up being much less expensive than the fence gate.
The Material is sturdy and is opaque to provide great privacy.

We installed the screen on our patio to provide privacy from our neighbors after we installed a hot tub. It was very easy to install, we attached the retractable screen to a deck post. and the metal post that you stretch the screen too on concrete. The lags and shields provided were substantial enough to hold in the concrete. We have had it for about a month and it operates flawlessly.
