I got the 14,000 btu unit to cool my entire apartment which is about 750 square feet. It works like a champ. My only complaint is that the window kit does not have any kind of screen or vent flaps so rain/birds can get into the vent. I bent the hose so that the rain can’t get all the way in to the unit but it does not help with birds.

It is really simple to put all the pieces together And it is so nice to have wheels that I can move around .This unit is working great! It replaced another unit that was noisy too.l’ve ever owned. As far as cooling,it works very well in the room where it’s located. Definitely buy this unit if you’re looking for a quality unit. it gets too cold I switch it to Fan andIcan sleep through the night with ease.
