My entire house was starting to smell musty. I put one of these in the crawl space and within a month, it had taken away the musty scent in our house and almost eliminated it as well in the crawl space.

This product is pefect for my humid environment. It removes water fast, isn’t very loud. You can have a conversation right next to it without any issues. It is a heavy unit but that is expected given how much water it can pull out. I really like this brand and is a fraction of the cost of other brands of its caliber.

I bought this a year ago and had some shipping issues. Their customer service was great and the machine works as described.

Because my basement has been too humid, I bought this unit. I already have a heat pump water heater drawing extra moisture from the air and two dehumidifiers running nonstop. It was difficult for me to get the humidity down to 50%. I allowed this unit to sit for a day following delivery to make sure any refrigerant that may have been disturbed during transportation had settled. It was quite simple to unpack because the box lifted up immediately after the straps were cut. I was a little worried there would be damage because there were a few smashed sections of the box, but the air packs they placed inside kept this from happening. Given that it is a metal case, I will state that the item was weighty. It feels sturdy and well-built. Because the unit’s specs state that it consumes 1300W, I have some restrictions on where I can run it in my basement. I had a dedicated source that I could use without worrying about blowing a fuse. The unit’s chord is a little short and only extends to one corner, which is my only grievance. It is more difficult to put the unit in a corner because the exhaust exits one side and the air intake is located in the back of the device. I have the drain hose (which is included) connected to a condensate pump so that the water is released outside. I set the unit up in my basement and ran it on high fan. It emits a large amount of air. In about two hours, it reduced the humidity from 62% to 45%. The nearby dehumidifier verified this reading. To be honest, this gadget produces some heat. In the region it is operating in, the basement temperature has gone up a few degrees, but this is a fair trade-off for the air drying out.
