The stools will need to be assembled but they were easy enough to put together. We bought 4 to put around our kitchen island. They match our existing dining room set close enough. The cat loves them. He probably sits on them more than we have. Haha. They feel sturdy and I like that the seats are wood and not material. Happy with the purchase.
