These are attractive and sturdy. They work perfectly to sit beneath a wall of windows. In the spring, I put seedlings on the them, and the sunlight shines in. It works perfectly. Our dog loves to sit on them to watch out the window. People love to sit on them to look out the windows or read. Instead of a place to store shoes, we use the adjustable shelves to store books. We use the door compartment to hold toys. These are in our front room. Visitors to our home, especially children, enjoy the treasures that they hold.
