This shoe dryer item works and performs great job for drying off my garden and hiking boots especially when these are extremely soaked and drenched after working in the rain or in our muddy backyard. The assembly is very simple and you can use this device within minutes after opening. The instructions include directions that explain how long to dry your boots, shoes, and even gloves. That will the second most use for this dryer when snowblowing season starts next month. Other you tube vidoes have explained that this type of boot dryer can be useful for drying out both your coat or jacket sleeves. One note of caution is to check periodically to see if both sleeves are dry while it is resting on both tubes with the heat ports.I have discovered to clean both your drying and extension tubes just remove the upper tubes that are attached to the boot/shoe dryer itself, then hand wash them in a disinfectant in our laundry tub after a few uses of this dryer. This will help prevent both bacteria and mold from corroding the tubes itself. The power consumption is only 36w so it is not an energy bill funds killer.
