My first impression removing the parts from the shipping box was one of delight. The smell of the fir wood permeated the air and the finish on each piece is smooth and pretty — no splinters or rough spots on this baby! Initially, the assembly instructions were daunting, but once you start, it’s only 22 pieces that go together logically and easily. All screw holes and notches match up perfectly. The door swings easily and matches up to the lock mechanism. I am very pleased with my purchase and Costway has the best price on this item which is available in many other stores.
