Super cool look and large. Heavy duty sturdy concrete skull for the fireplace (or fire pit). I got a skull and crossbones for my fireplace so wanted to add something cool to our outdoor firepit. This comes in white or black and as you can see it is packaged well to keep from breaking and it is porous and has a built in crack at the top of the skull and flames can escape the eye sockets. In the past i have bought fireplace skulls and they crack at the top cause there is nowhere for the heat to go so this is a nice design.

It was cool to watch the skull turn black in the fire and the color of the stone change. I was skeptical about it being fireproof, but when we took it out of the fire it started turning white again and didn’t crack! I’ll be buying more and putting them in my pothole firewall! The fun is endless!
