I selected this particular TV stand because of it’s height, I needed a taller option because I am not able to wall mount my TV in my current house. This is the perfect size for my 55 inch television, with just a bit of space left on each side to keep it well supported all the way around. I was happy this had the circular cut-outs for cords through the back board, as I have a lot of different cables that need threaded through. I had no problem assembling this all on my own though it would definitely be easier with a second person. I made the decision to leave the “barn doors” off because they really just aren’t my style and I like having the easier access to the shelves. I did keep the doors and hardware, just incase I decide to put them on at a later date but I think it looks great as it is.
