Would not recommend this product. The assembly instructions are lacking in basic information (double check for pre-drilled hikes that are NOT shown in the illustrations), some pieces don’t fit together (especially at the front of the ship), and some of the wood broke as screws went into pre-drilled holes.

This is really cute, but I don’t expect it to last long. Everything came packed well and in good shape. Assembly was a breeze but pieces don’t all line up there’s a big gap in the front and I had to drill my own holes on the back part due to alignment, which was fine, I mean it’s an outdoor sandbox. The wood is thin, though, soft, and overall it is a little on the flimsy side. The tarp it comes with isn’t quite wide enough but I made it work. Overall, My son will get lots of play out of it though and it’ll last long enough. It’s more spacious than most like this on the market and I replaced the plain red flag with a pirate flag. So, for what it is and with realistic expectations it’s just really adorable and worth it!
