Seems to be well made, time will tell. You should know that the box weighed 72 pounds so be prepared to need help getting it into the house or up the stairs. I highly recommend replacing the tiny screws that hold the drawer slides to the cabinet sides and drawer sides with #6 x 1/2″ ones. I have no confidence in the ones that come with it. It took 2 hours to assemble, and the instructions were easy to follow. Also, be sure to attach the anti-tipping device. With the bottom drawer only half full it wanted to tip with the drawer fully open.

I ordered 2 of these file cabinets that are actually being used for storage ( instead of files). They look exactly as pictured, no scuffs or problems with them. I am definitely pleased with them!
