Took a while to assemble, the directions are a bit minimal but easy enough to follow. The post come in two pieces so don’t be too surprised when you receive a box smaller than you might expect. Preassembly only takes one person. Setting the top on the post is better with two.
I anchored the pergola to concrete. It has already stood up to 30 plus mph winds without issue.
The top slides easy and clips in place when in use. Straps in place when retracted. The shade cloth is very thin. I can see replacing this after a season.
For the price you shouldn’t hesitate to purchase this if you are even remotely thinking about one.
