The bed was relatively easy to put together. One of the screws provided did not fit and would show on the other side of one of the bed frames if we forced it. This makes me feel a little insecure about the stability of the bed.
Otherwise, it shipped fast. It is a really comfortable, attractive, platform bed to maneuver on. For the elderly with sensitive issues that require more height to get out of and on the bed this may work better for them with a box spring. Otherwise, it works great for us. It is beautiful and a great value so far. No squeaking. We really like it.
