Comes in pieces, obviously, but assembles easily with only the provided Allen wrench. Screw holes lined up properly and the pieces fit as they should. Very solid after assembly and sits and rocks comfortably. A good purchase, very happy.

I didn’t really want a black rocking chair – even though the seller photos make it look black – the color is espresso. I was very pleased when I opened the box and saw it was BROWN. Amazon should definitely update the photos to show it is very much a deep walnut color. The cushions are from Amazon too. You must tie them over the top of back or else it will crowd out the seat area.
Assembly took about one hour since just drawings and no written instructions. But, I managed! Most of it is already assembled into sections that you assemble to other sections. Very minimal number of pieces. Definitely keep an eye out for the 2 number 2 screws. They are the longest screws and are needed for the attachment of arms to the back. Only tool needed is the hex screw provided.
